our session
Your maternity session is more than just a photoshoot, its a time to slow down and connect, celebrating this beautiful journey you are on. From the moment you book, we’ll begin crafting your session, starting with a shared moodboard where I create a space for you to feel comfortable, confident, and completely yourself.
On the day, we’ll ease into things with gentle solo portraits that highlight your glow, followed by snuggly, love-filled moments with your partner if they’re joining. Then, we’ll get creative - whether it’s playing with movement, textures, or breathtaking scenery to create something truly unique.
Above all, this session is designed for you to feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful. Expect a mix of softly guided poses and raw, in-the-moment captures - because every side of your motherhood journey deserves to be remembered.
handcrafting your moodboard
Before your session, we’ll craft a personalised moodboard to ensure we’re aligned on the vibe, energy, and flow of your shoot. You will receive your moodboard prior to our session via DM, this will give you an opportunity to tweak & add to it. This isn’t about replicating images - it’s about understanding the essence of what speaks to you. Whether it’s a certain movement, pose, connection, or artistic element you’re drawn to, the moodboard helps bring those desires into focus while I take full creative control to weave them into your gallery naturally.
Think of it as a guiding light - helping me tune into your vision while allowing space for organic, emotive storytelling. Plus, let’s be real, it’s also a lifesaver for my ADHD brain!

You should book your photoshoots as soon as you’re ready. A high rate of my clients are booking in their second trimester for maternity and newborn sessions.

With a range of flattering outfit styles (two piece, dress, skirt, Mums outfit, Dads outfit, kids outfits!) and earthy tones, there’s something to suit every family. Also, here’s a little tip: ditch the sunglasses, hairties and watches. Ditching these items will ensure your photos look well prepared for, elegant and timeless.

Every image in your gallery is crafted with love and intention. I don’t just take photos - I carefully edit each one to reflect the warmth, connection, and beauty of your story. Your full gallery will be ready in around three weeks, but my contract allows up to six weeks just in case life (or little ones) need me to slow down. I pour my heart into every detail, ensuring you receive a collection of images that feel timeless, emotive, and uniquely yours. Trust that when your gallery arrives, it will be worth the wait.
